Terms & conditions
This section will grow as and when we add new features to the site.
Store
When you purchase something from the store section of our website, we will send the product the same day if the order is placed before 2pm, Monday to Friday*, and the following morning if placed after 2pm.
There will be several postage options available, depending on products size and weight these costs may vary, and the option of recorded delivery will be available.
As part of the ethos of our website, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get in the surf THIS weekend, so we will aim to get your products to you as soon as possible, and in some cases for inner London orders, we may be able to offer same day delivery, we’ll try our best!
Returns
We can accept returns for any products that are returned to us in the same condition they were delivered, so if and when we supply wetsuits or other products for use in the water, you cant use them and then return them obviously.
If a replacement product is required, we will endeavour to get that out to you ASAP as long as it is in stock – if it is not, we will hunt it down, or give you a full refund.
Blog sections
If you contribute in any way to the blog section, we will credit you with an author name, date of publication, and an shot & bio in the Authors section of the website. We reserve the right to use the content of your blog post in any promotional work we do for the website, and we reserve the right to move, remove, rename and/or have any editorial amend rights over the content of the post.
Where you supply a photograph for use in the blog, we urge you to take this photo yourselves so that there are no copyright issues – if you use a photo from another source, you must get permission before hand. We will credit you next to any photos your provide, and not claim ownership over them, but we reserve the right to use those shots in any promotional material (for example, if we submit a website profile to a magazine or another website, we may use your photo – in which case you will be fully credited for the photo).
No slander or slagging off of organisations or people in your blog posts, thats not what we are about! We want to encourage everyone in the industry, and the public, to surf more and perform better, so if you are not happy with an establishment, just don’t mention them, or give a constructive review of the place instead. We don’t want to end up like trip advisor!
Trips section
The trips section is there as a handy place for you guys to meet, share trip ideas and advice, and to arrange car shares for those of you who can’t drive, or want a travel buddy!
As such, we don’t make any money from this (or from anything else in the site for that matter!) and we cannot take responsibility for any missed trips, or problems you may have with any meeting arranged through this service, its really just a virtual pin board for “Hey anyone want to come surfing?”…
* That is of course assuming we are not out at a surf, in which case we will place a message on the website to let you know.
